Free Advertising for Niagara Non-Profit Organizations

If you are a small, non-profit or charitable organization based in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada (from Grimsby through Fort Erie), you may be eligible for free advertising on the Non Profit Niagara website.

As a guideline, your organization must have less than five paid staff to be eligible for a free listing. (To learn why, click here.)

If your organization does not qualify for free advertising, we may consider a discounted rate on our internet marketing packages if you choose to apply.

Alternately, you can mail the information to us or we can meet with you in person to pick it up. We can only accommodate so many request for free listings each month and we make no guarantee your listing will be completed immediately.

If you do not have a website and are working with limited funds, we can help you use your listing on Non Profit Niagara as a website by adding a domain name to the listing. For $60 / year + GST, we can add a .com or a .ca domain name to your listing so that when people type in www.YourOrganization.com, they will be taken right to your page within the Non Profit Guide.

Question: Why do we care about how many staff your organization has? A non-profit is a non-profit, right?

Answer: Actually, we don't - and No, not to us. What we DO care about is serving small organizations that often don't have a significant marketing budget to work with. It is those organizations we want to support with this free listing service. For example, the Shaw Festival is a non-profit organization. (Source: Shaw Festival Website). Could they benefit from a free listing? Perhaps, but not as much as a small organization. Since we're offering our time for free, we would rather support smaller organizations. We love the Shaw Festival, but any organization that has a marketing budget that is likely more than the combined marketing budgets of one hundred local non-profit organizations can afford to pay for a yearly listing in The Niagara Guide. This makes sense to us. Is it perfect? Perhaps not, but if you don't like it and think you should get something from us for free, just let us know and we can talk about it.
